24 Jun Puerto Sherry Revalidates Excellence with its Fourth Consecutive Blue Flag
The Puerto Sherry marina has once again been awarded the Blue Flag, an international distinction that certifies the highest quality in its facilities, safety, and services. With this recognition for 2026, the El Puerto de Santa María enclave has now secured this seal for four consecutive years, consolidating its firm commitment to responsible management and continuous improvement.

An Integral Commitment to Sustainability
The Blue Flag does not merely recognize the quality of infrastructure; it certifies compliance with demanding standards in key areas:
- Environmental Management and Conservation: A direct commitment to the protection of the marine environment.
- Safety and Accessibility: Constant investment in user safety and accessible facilities.
- Environmental Information and Education: Ongoing pedagogical work regarding the importance of the marine ecosystem.
- Excellence in Services: Superior quality in the attention provided to sailors and visitors.
This award, granted by the Association for Environmental and Consumer Education (ADEAC), backs the daily work of the Puerto Sherry team to maintain a more sustainable, efficient, and sea-committed marina.
A Quality Benchmark in the Province of Cádiz
The achievement of this seal coincides with a notable moment for the province, which in 2026 has reached a total of 32 Blue Flags—one more than the previous year—reinforcing the position of the Bay of Cádiz as a reference coastal destination in terms of sustainability and tourism excellence.
Nicolás Figueras, General Director of Puerto Sherry, highlighted the relevance of this achievement: “Receiving the Blue Flag for the fourth consecutive year has special value because the criteria are increasingly demanding. It is a recognition of the daily effort and our management based on constant improvement”.
