The Nao Victoria is on tour for the commemoration of the Fifth Centenary of the First Voyage around the World. Its last tour was in 2019 and, in 2021, visits us again.
Coinciding with the first day of regatta of the Fifth edition of Semana clásica, the Nao Victoria has returned to sail the waters of the Bay of Cádiz. Its arrival was scheduled to witness the start of this Fifth edition of Semana Clásica. Last Friday, July 23, the mouth of the Marina was a spectacle. From the coast, you could enjoy the different classes of boats (classic, retro and mini) and the only replica of Ferdinand Magellan’s ship to have sailed around the world.
During the 24th and 25th, it could be visited by all those interested in Spanish nautical history, exploring its 26 meters long and 7 meters wide. Many people came to discover the Nao Victoria, a ship made of pine and oak that sailed 26,000 nautical miles during its round-the-world voyage in 2004-2006.
