23 Feb Puerto Sherry, much more than a marina
Promotion within and beyond our borders aims to consolidate the marina as a premium, sustainable and innovative destination.
November the 16th 2023.- Beyond being a sports marina of reference for the quality of its services and facilities, Puerto Sherry is a tourist complex with a wide range of services: moorings, hotel and aparthotel, yacht club, sailing school, restaurants, paddle tennis club, diving club, and a host of activities available to everyone.
On the commercial side, and having analysed the product that Puerto Sherry is made up of as a space and destination, the company’s strategic objectives are to gain market share and position itself on the international map as a tourist destination with a premium quality, sustainable and innovative marina.
This is why the commercial actions, the relationship with the market and the search for alliances with other companies in the sector, is one of the keys and objectives in the commercial and promotional field in the new direction taken by Puerto Sherry.
“We consider it very important to attend trade fairs and congresses in order to learn first-hand about trends and developments in the sector and move towards success, as well as networking with all kinds of companies that can add value to Puerto Sherry,” says Mariluz Rivero, commercial director of Puerto Sherry.
These actions cover not only the nautical sector but also the tourism sector with a view to the marketing of each segmented product. In this line of work, Puerto Sherry is present at the main boat shows held in Germany, France, England, Monaco and Palma de Mallorca, and also at fairs aimed at promoting tourism, such as Fitur in Madrid, the World Travel Market in London, the International Travel Show in Berlin, or the IBTM in Barcelona for the events sector.
All of this without neglecting regional or regional meetings, such as the Cadiz Tourist Board’s own conferences and private company workshops, “with which we seek to continue growing in occupancy all year round and achieve the longed-for deseasonalisation, greater turnover and professionalisation of services, and position Puerto Sherry as a Must Destination on an international level”, concludes Rivero.
