31 May Maritime rescue talk at the Puerto Sherry Hotel on Saturday May 29th
The safety of our customers comes first and, to avoid damages, it is essential to be up to date with what is happening on the coast.
Last Saturday, May 29th, we were pleased to listen to Sergio Bueno and David Berruezo, two of the Salvamento Maritimo rescuers who spoke together with José Maraver from the Coordination Center of Salvamento Maritimo in Tarifa.
It was a very interesting talk in which many current issues were discussed such as what to do in case of an encounter with an illegal dinghy, or how to react if killer whales attack your boat.

That same day we had an emergency drill, where we saw how the Helimer approached the boat and how a rescuer went down. It was a very fun event, as we enjoyed the presence of the emergency teams without having any damage to regret.
