After its participation in ITB Berlin, it has attended for the second consecutive year Sports & Events Europe 2025, held in Malaga, where it has generated more than 100 strategic business contacts.

At the meeting, the Puerto Sherry team, led by Daniel Martínez, held more than 40 direct meetings with European companies interested in Andalusia, Cádiz and Puerto Sherry as privileged destinations for football, rugby, sailing, golf and MICE.
José Ramón Paramio, director of the Puerto Sherry Suites and Hotel, highlights: ‘Sporting activity and the holding of events are key for Puerto Sherry, which every season hosts international regattas and athletes of different nationalities, thanks to the unique conditions of the Bay of Cadiz and the support of the Andalusian Sailing Federation’.
The complex is the accommodation venue for the Royal Andalusian Football Federation and international teams, hosting events such as the National Indoor Football Tournament, the Beach Football Championship and basketball tournaments.
Mariluz Rivero, commercial director, highlights the ideal infrastructure for sportsmen and women, with double and multiple rooms, rooms for technical talks, adapted kitchen, parking and large outdoor areas. Likewise, the rise of rugby in El Puerto will be reflected this year with the Annual Gala in its facilities.
During the event, it was announced that Sports & Events Europe 2026 will be held in Seville, reinforcing Andalusia’s position as a leading sports tourism destination.
