El Puerto de Santa María, 10 October 2024 – For some months now, Puerto Sherry has become a meeting point for art, sustainability and local gastronomy with the celebration of the Ecomercado, an initiative resulting from the collaboration with the Asociación de Artesanos del Parque Metropolitano Marisma de los Toruños y Pinar de la Algaida, organiser of a pioneering market in the province.

The event takes place every second Sunday of the month in the Las Gradas area, next to pontoon G, where more than thirty artisans come together to offer a wide and carefully selected range of artisan and organic products. Among the stalls you will find everything from organic vegetables, wines and spirits, craft beers, jams and honey, to Arab sweets, artisan bread, paintings, clothing, jewellery and more, all with a firm commitment to sustainability, local entrepreneurship and the ‘km 0’ seal.

The Ecomercado has established itself as an event of great interest for the citizens of El Puerto de Santa María and from other towns in the province, who come every month to buy fresh and original products. The next meeting will take place this Sunday 13 October from 11:00 to 15:00 hours, coinciding with the celebrations of the National Day of the Hispanidad.

In addition to the Ecomarket experience, visitors can enjoy discounts and special promotions at Puerto Sherry’s bars and restaurants.
